We know buying handmade goods online can feel like a risk sometimes. You can't touch, hold, or see the products, and it's hard to tell quality from pictures alone. So, we want to formally introduce ourselves, and give you a short history on us and what I do!
Hi 👋🏼 I'm Kim! A few years ago I had a really bad Pinterest addiction. Who's been there? 🙋🏼♀️ I scoured it like a fiend looking for a fix, trying to find something new and exciting to do. I did manage to come across some pretty awesome DIY projects amongst the endless hours of scrolling. From essential oils and DIY scrubs, to hand lettering, to jewelry making, to hand crocheting, to wooden signs... I literally did all of it. But Macramé... Macramé was the thing I kept going back to like a bad habit. It gave me the most frustration, but it also gave me the most reward. Macramé was in every nook and cranny of the 70's, and I noticed during my "Pinterest phase" that it was making a come back. I've always loved the process of knot tying, and I taught myself how to do it by making bracelets. I then transferred those skills to traditional wall hangings. But if you type in Macramé on Pinterest, you'll notice wall hangings are the first things to pop up. Well, that, and plant hangers. As much as I love traditional wall hangings, and still make them from time to time, I wanted to do things a little different (I'm Texan, of course I did). I wanted to bring macramé into the modern age. To give people a new perspective on this centuries old technique. So I took my knot tying skills, and combined it with my newly learned skill of webbing dreamcatchers, and ta-da! Two processes, both hundreds of years old, coming together to make something fresh, new, and totally unique. 💁🏼♀️
We are a small home based business located in beautiful & historic Granbury, Texas. My husband Kris and I started this business back in October 2019 as a central location for people to be able to see, shop, and stay up to date on my latest creations. We also wanted a way to share this love with those outside our immediate area. I don't sell anything I wouldn't personally buy. If I don't feel like it's something I would spend our own money on, then I don't want you spending your hard earned money on it either. I'm a quality over quantity kind of person. I'd rather sell a few and they be high quality, than to sell hundreds and they be junk. I'm not here to sell you junk. Promise. I want you to love it so much, you can't get enough (kind of like my Pinterest addiction 😆)! So my business model is simple. You and your happiness are most important, and love is guarenteed 🖤 Though this business is owned by my husband and myself, he is a silent partner. I run this business strictly on my own. From the website, to the advertising, to the pictures & media, to answering emails, to the products themselves; I do it all. Please know I put my heart & soul into each and every piece. They truly are a labor of love, I only hope that you love them too. We can't thank you enough for your time, patience, & business.
